Orders & Shipping
How long until my tee ships?
Every shirt is made to order, so we need 2–5 business days to print and package before it heads out the door. After that, standard shipping within the US takes another 3–5 business days. Total: about a week to a week and a half from checkout to closet.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to the US, Canada, the UK, most of the EU, Australia, and a few other places. International orders usually take 10–20 business days depending on where you are and how nice customs is feeling that week.
How much does shipping cost?
US shipping starts at a flat rate at checkout, and orders over $50 ship free. International rates depend on destination and weight — you'll see the exact number before you pay.
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes. As soon as your order ships, we email you the tracking link. Check your spam folder if it doesn't show up (and add us to your contacts so we don't end up there again).
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
If you catch us within 12 hours of ordering, email us at [your email] and we'll do our best. After that, your shirt is already in production and we can't stop the presses.
Sizing & Fit
How do these shirts fit?
Our unisex tees run true to size with a relaxed but not oversized fit. If you like your shirts roomier (for reading-in-bed energy), size up one. If you prefer fitted, stick to your usual size.
Where's the size chart?
On every product page — click the "Size Chart" link right above the size selector. We list chest width and length in inches so you can measure a shirt you already love and compare.
What sizes do you carry?
XS through 5XL on most designs. We believe every reader deserves to represent their tropes, regardless of size.
Are these unisex or women's cut?
Unisex. We chose this on purpose — the fit is flattering across bodies, the fabric holds up better, and it means one size chart to remember.
Product & Materials
What's the shirt made of?
100% ring-spun cotton on our solid colors. Our Black Heather (the signature Noir look) is a cotton-poly blend for that perfect soft, slightly stretchy feel. Fabric weight is 4.2 oz/yd² — light enough for summer, sturdy enough to survive a hundred rereads.
How do I wash it without ruining it?
Machine wash cold, inside out, with similar colors. Tumble dry low or hang dry. Skip the bleach and the iron directly on the print. Treat it like your favorite paperback — gently — and it'll live a long life.
Will the print crack or fade?
Not if you follow the wash instructions above. Our prints are done with high-quality DTG (direct-to-garment) inks that soak into the fabric instead of sitting on top, so the design ages with the shirt instead of peeling off it.
Why does my Black Heather look slightly see-through?
Heather fabrics are woven a little lighter to get that soft vintage feel. It's a feature, not a defect — pair with a black tank or bralette if you want opacity.
Returns & Exchanges
What's your return policy?
Because every shirt is made to order specifically for you, we can't accept returns for "changed my mind" reasons. But if there's a problem with your order — wrong size shipped, print defect, item damaged in transit — we'll fix it. No questions, no drama.
How do I request a replacement?
Email us at [your email] within 30 days of delivery with your order number and a clear photo of the issue. We'll send a replacement or refund, your choice.
Can I exchange for a different size?
Since we don't hold stock, we can't do direct swaps — but if you ordered the wrong size, reach out and we'll work something out. Measure twice, order once (the size chart is your friend).
Designs & Restocks
Do you take custom design requests?
Not at the moment. We drop new designs regularly based on the tropes and books our community is obsessed with — follow us on Instagram and TikTok to see what's coming next.
A design I love is gone. Will it come back?
Sometimes yes, sometimes no. We rotate designs based on what's resonating, and some are limited to a single wave. If you see one you love, don't wait — it might be gone next month.
I have an idea for a design. Can I send it to you?
We love hearing what our readers want to see. Slide into our DMs on Instagram (@noirteesstudiostore) with your trope, quote, or concept. If it fits the brand, we may bring it to life — with credit.
Payments & Discounts
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal. Everything is processed securely through Shopify — we never see or store your card info.
Do you offer discounts?
Sign up for our email list and you'll get 15% off your first order, early access to new drops, and the occasional flash sale. We hate spam as much as you do, so we send fewer emails than most brands.
Can I use more than one discount code at checkout?
One code per order. We know, we know — but the math starts to hurt otherwise.
